Seton Catholic extended their winning streak to nine on Friday, bumping them up to 14-2. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Globe Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Sentinels also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.
Drew Campagna spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 13 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Chase Ries was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Donovan, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
As for Globe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.
On Globe's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Ramos, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
