Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Dylan Dee stepped things up a notch to give Crete-Monee the 'W'. Dee scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Dee's strong effort led Crete-Monee over Thornton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors are a perfect 10-0 against the Wildcats going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
