6A Region 4 recap September 24, 2013
Fans got a thrill when Kalen Whitlow and Tyrie Moore connected against Thompson. The connection was good for 65 yards, the longest such play in 6A Region 4 this season.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Spain Park beat Wetumpka 24-13,. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Whitlow and Kingston Davis gave Prattville a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Whitlow threw for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns, while Davis ran for 115 yards. Joseph Burke also contributed to the rushing game with 101 yards on the ground.

Whitlow put up the best numbers through the air as Prattville bested the Warriors.
He went 6-11 with 1 interception.
Otis Harris was the best wideout in the league this week as Spain Park bested the Indians. Harris tallied 7 receptions for 100 yards.
Davis was the most successful running back in 6A Region 4 this week.
5-foot-11 quarterback Mickey Forrest of Shawn Raney's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 634. He has also thrown 2 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Eric Reeves. The Thompson star has 26 catches for 232 yards.
Thompson fell to Chad Anderson's team 42-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
