The Coolidge Bears won the last time they faced the Thatcher Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Coolidge strolled past Thatcher with points to spare, taking the game 47-31. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Coolidge.
Coolidge found their leader in underclassman Alaysia White, who dropped a triple-double on 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which White has scored at least 25% of Coolidge's points. Another player making a difference was Jade Rodgers, who scored 13 points.
Coolidge's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Thatcher, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Coolidge will be playing at home against Cienega at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Thatcher is on the road again on Monday and play against Buena at 7:00 p.m. on November 27th.
