Volleyball Recap: Heritage Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Heritage had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Rome Wolves by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Generals also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2015.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Heritage was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13.

Mariah Evans paced Heritage's offense, picking up eight kills. Evans got some help from Madison Sertel and her 15 assists. Addy Kissner controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Rome, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, Heritage and Rome will both be playing Christian Heritage the next time they take the court. The Generals will head out to face the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wolves will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
