Hailey Sralik Game Report: vs Lexington

Jourdanton had to settle for second on Thursday, but Hailey Sralik sure wasn't going down easily. Sralik turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

Even though Sralik couldn't lead Jourdanton over Lexington, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Indians/Squaws will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 250 places lower in Texas), but they're not letting that get them down.
