If City of Life Christian Academy beats All Saints' Academy with 17 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. City of Life Christian Academy was the clear victor by a 17-2 margin over Calvary Chapel Academy last Tuesday. The game marked the Warriors' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The team relied heavily on Adelaide Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalia Duran, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask All Saints' Academy). They blew past Discovery 22-8 last Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won five in a row.
Olivia Chadwick was a standout: she scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. She also got a hit, marking her first of the season. Cira Whitchard was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-3.
City of Life Christian Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for All Saints' Academy, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-4.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. City of Life Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .596. However, it's not like All Saints' Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .515. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
