Booker T. Washington had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They breezed by West Florida at home to the tune of 67-34. With that win, Booker T. Washington brought their scoring average up to 54.7 points per game.
Booker T. Washington found their leader in underclassman Chamiah Francis, who scored 30 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Francis has scored at least 25% of Booker T. Washington's points. Another player making a difference was Mikerria Bonner, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Even though Niceville has not done well against Fort Walton Beach recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Niceville blew past Fort Walton Beach 54-28.
Niceville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anna Kimball, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Kimball has scored at least 25% of Niceville's points. Carson Fayard was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Booker T. Washington's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Niceville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
