The Highland Hawks won the last time they faced the Campo Verde Coyotes, and things went their way on Thursday too. Highland was the clear victor by a 75-50 margin over Campo Verde.
Highland found their leader in underclassman Nick Reber, who scored 23 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Reber has scored at least 25% of Highland's points. Another player making a difference was Ty Crandall, who scored 16 points.
Highland's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Campo Verde, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Casteel at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. One thing working in Casteel's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Campo Verde, they will head out on the road to face off against Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
