Fort Zumwalt North can attribute much of their success to Payton Buckman, who had 15 digs and two assists, and Gabbi Cusumano, who had 11 kills, seven digs, and one block. Those seven digs gave Cusumano a new career-high.
Fort Zumwalt West won the last time they faced Fort Zumwalt South and Audrey Lashbrook did her part to make sure it happened again. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday with plenty of help from Lashbrook, who had 12 digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.
The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-14.
Fort Zumwalt North's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for Fort Zumwalt West, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

It's a different story for Fort Zumwalt West, though, as they've been averaging only 1.5 blocks.
