It was another big night for Corey Hairston Jr., who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Jaden Butler was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Chapel Hill strolled past Jordan with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 65-49.
David Mirikwe was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andrew Herring, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Riverside-Durham's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Chapel Hill, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
Wednesday's matchup is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Riverside-Durham have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 41% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Chapel Hill struggles in that department as they've drained 43% of their threes per game this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
