Meanwhile, Chapel Hill strolled past Jordan with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 65-49.
David Mirikwe was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andrew Herring, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Riverside-Durham's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Chapel Hill, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
Wednesday's matchup is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Riverside-Durham have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 41% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Chapel Hill struggles in that department as they've drained 43% of their threes per game this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
