Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats walked away with it. They blew past the Bulldogs 45-24. The win was just what St. Luke's Episcopal needed coming off of a 70-41 loss in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Kalaysia Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Stephenson, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four blocks.
St. Luke's Episcopal's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9. As for Clarke County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.
St. Luke's Episcopal will head out on the road to square off against Washington County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Washington County will roll in looking for their 20th straight win, something St. Luke's Episcopal surely won't give up without a fight. Clarke County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
