Basketball Recap: Pontiac Gets the Win

Pontiac waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They pulled ahead with a 62-61 photo finish over the Prairie Central Hawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Pontiac's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Prairie Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Pontiac and DePaul College Prep will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. DePaul College Prep has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last six games. As for Prairie Central, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
