They had to suffer through a rough 63-7 loss at the hands of South Guilford HomeSchool. Sheets Memorial Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-4.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Guilford HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kailey Bullins, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Kourtney Bullins was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Sheets Memorial Christian bumped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 21-5.
Sheets Memorial Christian will head out on the road to square off against Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sheets Memorial Christian in North Carolina (Faith Christian is ranked 148th, while Sheets Memorial Christian is ranked 583rd). As for South Guilford HomeSchool, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Charlotte T at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully South Charlotte T focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Thursday.
