It was a good run, but the St. Brendan Sabres unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 58-43 bruising from Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart. St. Brendan's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bella Perez, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Sofia Toro, who scored 12 points.
St. Brendan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
St. Brendan will head out on the road to face off against Coral Gables at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, they will be playing at home against Sports Leadership & Management at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
