Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Basile). They put the hurt on the DeQuincy Tigers with a sharp 51-31 win on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Bearcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Basile now has a winning record of 6-5. As for DeQuincy, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Basile Bearcats take on the Pine Prairie Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for DeQuincy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Deweyville at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
