Arcadia is on an eight-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while ALA - West Foothills is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Titans will host the Guardians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arcadia knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully ALA - West Foothills likes a good challenge.
Arcadia is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Marcos de Niza with a sharp 47-21 victory. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Arcadia's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ian Slater led the charge by picking up 186 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Those four receiving touchdowns gave Slater a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Ryan Jimenez, who rushed for 128 yards and one TD.
Arcadia didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kayan Cobb and Broden Arnold.
Meanwhile, ALA - West Foothills gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Mohave by a score of 28-18.
Arcadia better keep an eye on Kenyon Rosenthal. He was instrumental in ALA - West Foothills' win, rushing for 211 yards and three scores while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Rosenthal is becoming a predictor of the Guardians' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 3-4 when he doesn't). Cannon Trythall made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to ALA - West Foothills' defense and their five sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Matthew Lee and Titan Ashton, who each picked up 0.5 sacks apiece. Another thorn in Mohave's side was Lee, who picked up 0.5 sacks and made 12 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
ALA - West Foothills' win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Arcadia, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0.
Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Jimenez and Rosenthal. Jimenez just won't slow down this season and has run in 19 touchdowns while averaging 133.6 rushing yards per game. Rosenthal has been a dominant force too and has run in 23 touchdowns while averaging 148.1 rushing yards per game.
Everything went Arcadia's way against ALA - West Foothills when the teams last played back in September, as Arcadia made off with a 20-0 win. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Guardians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
