Greene County Gets a Boost from Wilder Jr. in 52-32 Loss
Starting off the list is Greene County's Ronald Wilder Jr., who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Wilder Jr. rushed for 192 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 130 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Greene County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. Wilder Jr. and Greene County will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vincent at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

A Season-Best Performance from Jayden Roberts Leads Vincent over Aliceville
Vincent was led to victory by Jayden Roberts, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Roberts rushed for 255 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.3) per game. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Vincent's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Roberts and Vincent will welcome Isabella at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Preston Lancaster Dazzles in Tuscaloosa Academy Win
Preston Lancaster was instrumental in extending Tuscaloosa Academy's winning streak to seven on Friday. Lancaster did his part (and then some), throwing for 241 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes for the 'W'. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Lancaster must have Lamar County's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Lancaster threw for 338 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in September of 2023.

Kelvies Snoddy Makes It Two for Greene County
The second Greene County player making an appearance here is Kelvies Snoddy, and for good reason. He rushed for 70 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 137 yards while completing 80% of his passes.
On the season, Snoddy has averaged 111.1 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.29 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 103.43 rushing yards.
