The Saugus Centurions are taking a road trip to  challenge the Camarillo Scorpions  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.

 The losing side was boosted by   Brendan Widerburg, who threw for 189 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown.  Brayden Smith was  Widerburg's top target, picking up 93 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Saugus dropped their record down to 1-1 with that  loss, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Camarillo, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Saugus suffered a grim  34-10 defeat to Camarillo  in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023. Can Saugus avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
