Timmy Herr's big game helped extend San Juan Hills's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Herr as he threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87% of his passes.
Newport Harbor's probably not too fond of Herr given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Herr saw the Sailors), he rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 76 yards and three touchdowns.

Sadly, Glenn Baranoski posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Newport Harbor over San Juan Hills on Friday. Baranoski wasn't messing around, picking up a sack and making 15 total tackles. The match was his 13th straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.
This year, Baranoski has averaged 11.5 total tackles per game and for the season has those 1 sack. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 7.5 total tackles per game.
