There have been many famous father-son duos in the NBA over the years.
In all, 89 second-generation players have made their marks in the league
including Devin Booker, Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry and Pete Maravich
among others.
There's potential to add to the list as LeBron James, Ray Allen, Carlos Boozer, Penny Hardaway, Hakeem Olajuwon, Scottie Pippen and Juwan Howard all have sons playing high school basketball with aspirations to some day follow in their father's footsteps.
Several sons of former players are regarded as Top 100 prospects in their class, including Jett Howard, Bronny James, Jaeden Mustaf and Jase Richardson.
D.J. Wagner is the highest regarded player on the list as the top-ranked junior is widely considered the top prospect in high school basketball regardless of class. Cameron Boozer is also a name of intrigue as he enters the season as a front-runner for MaxPreps Freshman of the Year honors.

Son: Under-the-radar 6-foot-4 junior guard transferred to Coronado for his junior year. Two-star guard holds an offer from Pacific.
Father: T.J. Ford, Eight-year NBA career.
Son: The son of the former Texas Longhorns great is an under-the-radar Class of 2023 guard prospect who had a team-high 13 points and eight rebounds in the Panthers season-opening win.
Ashton Hardaway, Duncanville (Texas)Father: Penny Hardaway, 14-year NBA veteran and four-time All-Star.
Son: Quickly rising Class of 2023 standout is regarded as a Top 150 prospect. The 6-foot-7 forward chipped in 11 points in the Panthers impressive 102-57 opening-day victory over Class 5A contender Lancaster.
Father: Juwan Howard, 1996 NBA All-Star and two-time NBA champion.
Son: Top 50 senior prospect earned Junior MaxPreps All-America honors last season after averaging 10.5 points and shooting an efficient 41 percent from 3-point range.
Father: Larry Hughes, 13-year NBA veteran scored over 10,000 points in his career.
Son: Three-star senior guard has yet to receive any reported scholarship offers.
Father: LeBron James, four-time MVP, four-time Finals MVP and four-time NBA champion.
Son: Bronny garners national attention wherever he goes. Fully healthy, he will have an opportunity to prove he has the game to go along with the name.

Son: A long family lineage continues as father Dajuan Wagner scored 3,451 career points and his grandfather Milt Wagner scored 2,003 career points, with both resulting in state championships for Camden. The top-ranked junior prospect is a front-runner for National MaxPreps Player of the Year honors after winning Sophomore MaxPreps Player of the Year last season.
