Pharr has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings every time she's  pitched this season. Pharr was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Jaci Gary was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Jena Lecamus, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in two of her five plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Sam Houston got themselves on the board against Lafayette on Tuesday, but Lafayette never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp  15-0 win.
 Southside has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games,  which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record  this season. As for Sam Houston, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.
