Quincy Notre Dame came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Marquette Catholic Explorers 15-4. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Quincy Notre Dame's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Marquette Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.

Coming up, Quincy Notre Dame will challenge Augusta Southeastern at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Suns have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.2 runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
