Fort Worth Country Day has gone a perfect 5-0 against Liberty Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Fort Worth Country Day Falcons will challenge the Liberty Christian Warriors at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Fort Worth Country Day barely beat Grapevine Faith Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Fort Worth Country Day never let Grapevine Faith Christian get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.

Madeline Richey made a big impact no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 17 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Gracie Fuller and Ryleigh Hall did most of the damage at the plate: Fuller went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Hall went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Fuller has posted since back in April of 2024. Caroline Knutson also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Fort Worth Country Day hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Liberty Christian hadn't done well against Bishop Lynch recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Liberty Christian blew past Bishop Lynch 12-2. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Liberty Christian got a massive performance out of Paige Childers, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Griffin, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Liberty Christian pushed their record up to 5-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Fort Worth Country Day, their record now sits at 4-2.
Fort Worth Country Day was able to grind out a solid win over Liberty Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 5-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fort Worth Country Day since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
