The Hardin Valley Academy Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Farragut Admirals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hardin Valley Academy is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
Hardin Valley Academy pushed their score all the way to 66 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 67-66 to William Blount.
Meanwhile, even though West scored an imposing 61 points on Tuesday, Farragut still came out on top. Farragut walked away with a 68-61 victory over West. The win made it back-to-back wins for Farragut.
Hardin Valley Academy bumped their record down to 11-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Farragut, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season.
Hardin Valley Academy beat Farragut 56-48 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Farragut's Dallas Carbaugh, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
