On Friday South Lafourche take on A.J. Ellender at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
South Lafourche suffered a grim 6-38 defeat to Central Lafourche last week. South Lafourche were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-28.
Meanwhile, after soaring high against Grace King two weeks ago, Icarus fell to the ground. A.J. Ellender ended up on the wrong side of a painful 7-34 walloping at Bourgeois's hands. A.J. Ellender were down by 7-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
