The SkyView Academy Hawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Denver Christian 66-28. Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Avenly Lewis, who scored six points along with eight rebounds. It was the first time this season that Lewis pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Martin, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Leading Denver Christian to victory were Noelani Book and Kamiree Fuller. Book scored 15 points along with six assists and three steals, while Fuller scored 24 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Fabiana Genc, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. SkyView Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st. Denver Christian will take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
