Discovery not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Valor Academy. The Warriors have beaten Valor Academy the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Valor Academy has come to flipping the script.

Discovery never let Valor Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 27-25.

Discovery's win bumped their record up to 9-6-1. As for Valor Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Discovery is set to face off against their familiar foe Sun Valley Magnet at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Valor Academy will square off against rival Magnolia Science Academy Van Nuys at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
