 Silsbee lost  on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Jacaleb Johnson, who  went 8-for-19  on his way to 21 points in addition to eight  assists and eight  boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played.  Payton Jones was another key player,  going 9-for-19  en route to 21  points and five  rebounds.
Wheatley pushed their record up to 24-7 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 90.7 points over those games. As for Silsbee, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-14.
