If the Havre de Grace Warriors were riding high off their 81-37 takedown of the North Harford Hawks last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Havre de Grace fell 78-70 to C. Milton Wright on Tuesday. Havre de Grace has struggled against C. Milton Wright recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
C. Milton Wright got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cayne Woodland out in front who scored 29 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was Woodland's third in a row with at least ten points. Dylan Sander was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with nine rebounds.
Havre de Grace's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for C. Milton Wright, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Havre de Grace will be home for the holidays to greet Harford Tech at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Harford Tech has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 190 points over their last three games. As for C. Milton Wright, they will head out on the road to face off against Aberdeen at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Aberdeen focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.
