After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lee's Summit, Nixa was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Central Bulldogs. Considering the Eagles have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Nixa's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Nixa will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Ozark at 4:30 p.m. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Central, they will face off against Waynesville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
