Basketball Recap: Faith Baptist Christian Academy Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Faith Baptist Christian Academy won the last time they faced Victory Christian Academy, and Madison Starr did her part to make sure it happened again. The Faith Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders blew past the Victory Christian Academy Soldiers 56-24 on Monday thanks in part to Starr, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 steals. Those 14 points gave her a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Sophie Sellars, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 steals. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Victory Christian Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southside Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Crossroads Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th.
