The American School for the Deaf Tigers came into Tuesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Varsity Opponent by a score of 23-12 on Tuesday. The victory was just what American School for the Deaf needed coming off of a 38-18 loss in their prior matchup.
Leading American School for the Deaf to victory were Diana M and K'Marie O. M scored four points along with nine rebounds and two steals, while O scored nine points along with two steals. M also posted two blocks for the first time this season.
American School for the Deaf's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Varsity Opponent, their loss was their 11th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 108-386.
American School for the Deaf won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Pterodactyls at 4:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to take on the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
