They came out on top against Varsity Opponent by a score of 23-12 on Tuesday. The victory was just what American School for the Deaf needed coming off of a 38-18 loss in their prior matchup.
Leading American School for the Deaf to victory were Diana M and K'Marie O. M scored four points along with nine rebounds and two steals, while O scored nine points along with two steals. M also posted two blocks for the first time this season.
American School for the Deaf's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Varsity Opponent, their loss was their 11th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 108-386.
American School for the Deaf won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Pterodactyls at 4:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to take on the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
