Gunner Mungia was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Mungia was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs.
In other batting news, Brayden Knostman was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
