Boyd Anderson was led to victory by Jaydan Silvera and Theodore Richardson III. Silvera dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Richardson III scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaden Glaze, who scored seven points.
Deerfield Beach's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-15. As for Boyd Anderson, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deerfield Beach will take on St. Thomas Aquinas at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Thomas Aquinas presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Deerfield Beach in Florida (St. Thomas Aquinas is ranked 12th, while Deerfield Beach is ranked 394th). As for Boyd Anderson, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Stranahan at 7:30 p.m. on January 20th. Stranahan is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.
