Baseball Recap: St. Dominic's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After a string of four wins, St. Dominic's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the St. Charles West Warriors by a score of 4-3. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

St. Dominic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brennan Swindler, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Anthony Flamm Jr. was another, going 2-for-3 with one double.

St. Dominic's loss dropped their record down to 18-7-1. As for St. Charles West, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11.

Coincidentally, St. Dominic and St. Charles West will both be playing St. Louis HomeSchool P the next time they take the field. The Crusaders will head out to face the Patriots at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
