The Santa Fe Raiders came into Monday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 35-26 win over Keystone Heights on Monday. The win was just what Santa Fe needed coming off of a 59-15 defeat in their prior contest.
Santa Fe got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Natalie Chohan out in front who scored ten points along with four steals. Deziah Jones was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Santa Fe's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Keystone Heights, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-21.
Santa Fe will square off against the Rams at TBD on Wednesday. Eastside presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Raiders in Florida (the Rams are ranked 187th, while the Raiders are ranked 404th). Keystone Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
