Basketball Recap: Knowledge Academies Takes a Loss

Knowledge Academies was the 63-47 winner over Stem Preparatory Academy when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Knowledge Academies were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 48-47 to the Stem Preparatory Academy The Chargers. Knowledge Academies has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Knowledge Academies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sylvainus Cole Iv, who went 7 of 12 en route to 17 points. The match was Cole Iv's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Amos, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 12 points.

Stem Preparatory Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ikee Miles out in front who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Hazem Khalid, who put up 12 points.

Knowledge Academies' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Stem Preparatory Academy, their record is now 2-4.

Knowledge Academies didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-53 defeat against Tennessee Heat on the 13th. As for Stem Preparatory Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 54-16 loss against Merrol Hyde Magnet on the 14th.
