The Belchertown Orioles will be playing at home against the Malden Golden Tornados at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Friday, Belchertown was the victim of a rough 59-39 loss at the hands of Tantasqua Regional. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Belchertown has scored all season.
Malden lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Thursday was a bit more commanding. They took a serious blow against Lynn English, falling 73-44. Malden has not had much luck with Lynn English recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Belchertown's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Malden, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
