Catskill came out on top against Cairo-Durham on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run sixth inning. The Cats were the clear victors by a 15-8 margin over the Mustangs. Considering the Cats have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Will Cummings, who got on base in five of his six plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Travis Bulich was another key player, going 2-for-5 with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Catskill and bumps their season record up to 8-7. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-10 Greenville and 5-8 Cairo-Durham. As for Cairo-Durham, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
