Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Roanoke Valley Christian, who are still winless after their 14th game. They lost to Timberlake Christian on the road by a decisive 40-24 margin on Monday. Roanoke Valley Christian was down 38-11 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Craig County has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Roanoke Valley Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
