CJ Waller continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 4-for-5 from downtown and dropping a double-double on 33 points and 19 boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 46.6% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Bray Mollette, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists.
Tolsia was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.
Meanwhile, Lincoln County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 84-39 loss at the hands of Nitro. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Wildcats are ranked 12th).
Lincoln County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Tolsia, their win bumped their record up to 3-14.
