Hampton strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Denbigh Patriots get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Crabbers, who have now won three games by six runs or more so far this season.

Toby Weymouth made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Weymouth was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

In other batting news, Jaycob Flores was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Grant Gibson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Hampton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in five consecutive matches.

Hampton pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Denbigh, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Hampton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Patriots: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
