Laton is a perfect 3-0 against Legacy Christian Academy since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Lions at 4:15 p.m. One thing working in Laton's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last six contests.
Laton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Kings Christian 29-19 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Mustangs have posted against the Crusaders since May 12, 2023.

Laton got a massive performance out of Madison Heffley, who scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave Heffley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Peralez, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
Laton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .604. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .604 or higher in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Legacy Christian Academy can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They put the hurt on Wonderful College Prep Academy with a sharp 24-4 victory.
Faith Ghilarducci was incredible, going 4-for-5 with eight RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Ava Houchin, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Laton pushed their record up to 7-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 24.6 runs over those games. As for Legacy Christian Academy, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Laton has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Legacy Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Laton came out on top in a nail-biter against Legacy Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 22-20. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
