The Skyridge Falcons waltzed into their match Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Herriman 59-44. That's another feather in the cap for Skyridge, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Shae Toole was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with five steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ellah Oeser, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Skyridge's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Herriman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyridge will be home for the holidays to greet Granger at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Granger will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while Skyridge is ranked seventh). As for Herriman, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Pleasant Grove at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th. Pleasant Grove will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
