The Edison Wildcats will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Philo Electrics at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday. Edison will be strutting in after a win while Philo will be coming in after a defeat.
Edison scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 58-45 win over Southern. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Edison has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Philo took a serious blow against Zanesville on Wednesday, falling 67-38. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Philo has scored all season.
Edison's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Philo, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
Edison didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Philo when the teams last played back in December of 2014, but they still walked away with a 62-56 victory.
