Even though the Brewster Bears have not done well against the Okanogan Bulldogs recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Brewster secured a 53-47 W over Okanogan. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Brewster.
Brewster's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Pepper Boesel led the charge by scoring 24 points along with five rebounds. The matchup was Boesel's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Morgan McGuire was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Brewster's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Okanogan, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Brewster will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bridgeport at 6:00 p.m. Bridgeport is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Okanogan, they will head out on the road to face off against Cle Elum-Roslyn at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cle Elum-Roslyn is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
