The Minersville Battlin' Miners will be playing at home against the Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
 Minersville can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding  57-26 victory over Shenandoah Valley on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  win Minersville has posted  yet this season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Minersville to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Lorenzo Yourey, who  scored 18 points along with seven  rebounds and two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Yourey has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bradley Kostishak, who  scored 14 points along with four  steals.
 Meanwhile, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Shenandoah Valley on Tuesday as Our Lady of Lourdes Regional made off with a  58-38 win. The  win was just what Our Lady of Lourdes Regional needed coming off of a  80-40 loss in their prior  match.
 Minersville's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.
 Minersville took their  victory against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional  in their previous matchup  back in December of 2023 by a conclusive  54-28. Does  Minersville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Our Lady of Lourdes Regional turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
