Pacific Grove is 0-10 against Monterey since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Pacific Grove Breakers will play host again and welcome the Monterey Dores, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Saturday, Pacific Grove was able to grind out a solid victory over Saratoga, taking the game 59-48.
Pacific Grove found their leader in underclassman Andrew Nimri, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Nimri was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Monterey at home against Seaside on Tuesday as the squad secured a 85-30 victory. The victory was just what Monterey needed coming off of a 72-52 loss in their prior contest.
The win got Pacific Grove back to even at 3-3. As for Monterey, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
