There's no place like home for the Lackey Chargers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 50-34 win over Patuxent on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lackey also won the last time the pair played back in January.
When it comes to explaining why Patuxent lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ailish Fockler. Despite the final result, she scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. Shannon Rullman was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
The victory got Lackey back to even at 1-1. As for Patuxent, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Lackey will head out on the road to face off against Thomas Stone at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Patuxent, they will be playing at home against McDonough at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
